Reservations
Must I pay for my reservation online?
This depends on the booking you make. We have a non-refundable rate (pay directly, but a cheaper rate) or pay on arrival reservation (you must have a credit card for guarantee).
How can I change my reservation?
In many cases this can be done directly online, for example via booking.com. If the reservation was made via the hotel's website, please contact the hotel reception.
I have booked on the same day as my parents anniversary. Can I still cancel my reservation?
This depends on the booking you have made. If you have booked a non-refundable unfortunately you cannot change or cancel the reservation.
Payments
Must I provide my credit card details when making a reservation?
If you make a reservation to pay at the hotel, we do indeed need the details of the credit card to secure the reservation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all bank visa and credit cards.
Do you accept cash payments?
Yes, we accept cash payments within the hotel.
What is tourist tax and when is it paid?
You pay tourist tax if you are staying in a municipality where you are not registered. In our hotel you pay 6.5% city tax on the room price.
Do I have to leave a deposit at the hotel?
Yes, upon arrival at the hotel we ask you to pay a deposit of €100.00. This can be done by credit card or cash.
Arrival
How late can I check In?
You can check in daily from 15:00. Please contact us in advance if you will be arriving after 11:00pm. If you have not informed us in advance, unfortunately the reservation will be a ‘no show’.
How do I reach the hotel?
The hotel is easily reachable by public transport ‘OV’. Get off at the Beurs or Blaak stop and from here it is a few minutes' walk to the hotel.
Can I park at the hotel?
Please contact the hotel reception to arrange parking. We offer parking spaces for €20 from the time of check-in to the time of check-out.
Where can I check in and pick up my room key?
You can check in at the reception of the hotel. You will then receive your room key and/or the parking garage key.
I have arrived too soon. Can I leave my bags with you?
Of course you can leave the luggage with us. This is also possible after check-out.
Can I check in earlier?
If your room is ready then you can check in earlier. Additionally you can book a guaranteed early check-in for €10.00. Subject to availability.
During your stay
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel. A €150 fine will be charged if you smoke in your room or other hotel areas. Please use designated smoking areas only.
Is H2OTEL pet friendly?
Pets are not allowed at H2OTEL. Please contact us directly if you have a service dog.
Is there age limits within the hotel rooms?
Yes, we have an age restriction of 30 years old.
Must I bring hand or bath towels?
No, the hotel will arrange towels during your stay.
Do you have facilities for the disabled?
Yes, we have an elevator to get to the restaurant or the downstairs rooms. We are a boat hotel and have to deal with high and low tide. So you may have to climb some steep stairs to get to the reception. Unfortunately we do not have a lift to enter the boat.
I have a hen party planned. Can I still come?
If you come with a group, please contact the reception. We can help assist you to help make the most of your stay.
Where can I eat breakfast, lunch or dinner?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in Floats Restaurant. You can also enjoy breakfast on our floating terrace or perhaps a nice cold drink with friends or colleagues on our floating terrace overlooking the winjhaven.

Departure
Until what time can I check out?
Check out during the week is until 11:00 am and on the weekend, check out is 12:00 noon.
Can I check out earlier than planned?
Yes, this is entirely up to you.
I want to stay and visit the city a little longer. Can I leave my luggage with you?
Of course it is possible to store your luggage with us even after your stay.
I would like to sleep a little longer? Can I check out a little later?
A late check out is subject to availability. Please speak to reception during your stay. There is an additional charge for late check out.

What are the terms and conditions for the Flexible Rate?
You can change or even cancel the reservation up to 24 hours in advance.
What are the conditions of a non-refundable rate?
Once you have made the reservation, you can no longer change or cancel this reservation.
